Biography
I am Ryan Weal, a Vancouver-based writer, photographer and web developer. In fall of 2008 I returned to freelance consulting with my eCommerce and website development experience.
When I'm not coding I write a food column at Beyond Robson and a technical blog, Verbosity (yes, it will be updated soon to reflect the new business). In the past I have written for The Peak, Simon Fraser University's student newspaper, and I have had a letter or two appear in Globe and Mail's daily rants.
I spend a lot of time monitoring trends in the online media space and have a solid grounding in the highly complex subject matter that is necessary to work in this area. I can program in many languages, have an appreciation for the design process and great enthusiasm for publishing.
